Just got around to uploading our music video for Stephen Lage on YouTube. We had so much fun making this last year… and we don’t it think turned out half bad for a graphic designer and marketing consultant! Watching it brings back all kinds of great memories… and makes me want to do another one… Hmmm… Any bands out there need a video?! While you’re contemplating, be sure to check out more music by Stephen Lage… an extremely talented musician out of Venice, CA.

“Ice cream and cake and cake, ice cream and cake and cake!” Can not get this song out of my head… and for some reason I don’t care! Whenever this commercial pops up on TV, I can’t help but crack up. Maybe it’s the dancing robots… maybe it’s the soccer player that falls of the cake… maybe is the jingle that they hammer into your head over and over until it’s all that you can think about… I’m not sure why it is that I find this Baskin Robbins commercial so entertaining, when I have changed the channel for spots that are much less annoying. All I know, is I like it. So there. Now let’s go get some ice cream. And cake.

I’m loving Global Giving—a website that is dedicated to connecting donors with non-profit organizations that need funding. Their site is simple to navigate and has a great overall design. Go to their website and see if you can find one of their “million little earth changing ideas” that you’d like to help.

More screen shots of their site on the next page…

Check out this music video: Victoria Noll, Take Me With You. All shots were taken around the great city of Austin, TX. Have I mentioned how I can’t wait to go back? It was fun to watch this video and see all the places I’ve been to… and haven’t been to for that matter. Oh, and the song is lovely as well!

    junkmail
Grand has decided to take a more socially conscious path to our direct mail pieces. We’ve taken scraps of paper around the office, cut them up and printed over them with our own inkjet printer. We were able to save some trees and some press plates in one fell swoop! We love the homemade results as every piece is different from the last. Even accidental smudges become a happy accident! Check out the close ups on the next page…
